07:30am Pick up pax from hostel or airport. Drive to Caraz along the desert coast and its giant sand dunes. A stop at Barranca for a snack or lunch enjoying typical Peruvian seafood (sea bass) - not included. Continue now going uphill towards the Cordillera Blanca. After 120km of several switchbacks we reach the Pass of Conococha at 4100m where this amazing mountain range comes to view. From this point it's a long descent to reach Caraz. Total driving time 8-9hrs for 467km. Accommodation at ghostel on Double or Matrimonial room with private bathroom and hot shower.

07:30am Breakfast on premises (included).
08:00am Set off for this beautiful lakes. A dirt road for 25km will take us to the end of the Llanganuco valley at 3900m. A perfect spot for bird watching with some 9 kind of birds. Then a walk along the shores of the lake to the resting area (3,2km) for a short break. We will complete the day with a nice walk downhill across the Prinary Forest (5,6km -350m, 1hr). Finally our vehicle will pick up us for a transfer back to the lower valley and Caraz.

09:00am Set off for the XC, including guided visit to Pre Inca remains called Tumshukayco (2800 years old), ride through the country side, flower farms, typical villages, single tracks at altitude 2280m, with mild temperatures. Total ride aprox. 12 miles, in some 4-5hrs.

08:00am Leave for Lima. 17:00pm Expected time to arrive to Lima.
