Day 01: Arrival in Lima

In the afternoon, we will visit the City of Cusco on a 4-hour guided sightseeing tour visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them standing over 9 m / 30 ft high and weighing over 350 tons.

Day 04: Sacred Valley

Day 05: Train to Aguas Calientes
The day starts with an early morning rise to transfer to train station for a train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu , also known as “The Lost City of the Incas”. Arrive at Aguas Calientes station followed by a 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the incredible Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, we’ll participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. After the tour you will have time to stroll around the archaeological site at your leisure. Lunch at a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes Town. Overnight at Hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Note: When operational or technical reasons obligate the Train Operator to relocate the clients onto the Sacred Valley-Aguas Calientes train service, Best Peru Tours will provide all transfers needed to the train station in the Sacred Valley in order to board the train to Aguas Calientes.
Day 06: Machu Picchu
Leisurely breakfast. Excellent opportunity to wake up early and enjoy with a beautiful sunrise as well as stroll by the Town of Aguas Calientes and visit its Hot Springs Thermal waters. Then, you will have time to perform some of the following activities: (not included in the overall tour price). Visit the Citadel of Machu Picchu for the second time. For the most adventurous people, we suggest to go up the Huayna Picchu (if it is not raining) from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, even more amazing being high and distant. Arriving at the top takes about two hours and a half and it must be before 13:00 hours. It is necessary to register in a office at the beginning of the trail. An exciting adventure for the travellers who want to see, from the top, the nature and the carved stone emerging from the ground as a geological miracle Meals Included: Breakfast at hotel. Return to Cusco.

Day 07: Cuzco / Puno “The Route of the Sun” by Bus (4235 masl at highest point)
Meals: Breakfast and Typical Lunch.
Day 08: Titicaca Lake, Floating Islands of the Uros Island and Taquile
Breakfast. Early in the morning, we will have an unforgettable motorboat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique “Floating Islands” of the Uros. These ancient inhabitants of the Lake, known as the Water Tribe, have built their own “Islands” by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed called “totora” (Scirpus totora), vegetable fibre of the Papyrus family. Their homes and boats are also made from this material. We will continue our trip to the island of Taquile. This Island is known for having the best weavers of ancient Peru. This place has preserved many rituals and the lifestyle of the ancient Incas. We will walk for about 30 minutes to the center of the island and will stay there for 3 hours and have lunch. Then we will descend 500 stairs. We will leave to Puno at 04:00pmIn the afternoon, return to Puno. Evening free. Overnight at selected Hotel in Puno.

Day 09: Drive to La Paz. La Paz Tour. (Stay at La paz)
Departure from your hotel in Puno to the bus station, bus trip (tourist bus) towards Copacabana in Bolivia (3hrs 07:30PT/11:30BT) – reception and start of the tour, visiting their wonderful church and the Dark Virgin – Afterwards departure by private motorboat (2 engines) to the legendary Island of the Sun – visit to the Inca Palast of Pilkokaina and from there on Inca paths we take a walk to Yumani to visit the Inca Garden and Fountain – than we reach the newly build TACANA LODGE in order to have a delicious lunch on shore of the lake and with a unforgettable view – Afterwards back to Copacabana the same way and from by private bus to La Paz crossing the Bolivian high-plato. Arrival in La Paz and to your hotel. (20:00 aprox.)Day 10: Flight to Buenos Aires
Day 11: Half Day City Tour to the main attractions
Discover the beauty and wonders of Buenos Aires; view the National Congress, The Metropolitan Cathedral next to the Government House in may square area. Admire the Colon Theatre, one of the most important opera houses in Latin America. Visit San Telmo, traditional neighbourhood where Tango performances can be seen in many bars and restaurants. Stop at La Boca colourful neighbourhood, which was, seat of immigrants – manly Italians – and now home of some artists.
Return to hotel.

Get ready to enjoy a unique and traditional evening with an exquisite traditional dinner before witnessing the most original show in Buenos Aires. The artistic sample consists of two acts: a comic sketch or sainete that tells the humorous and dramatic tales of immigrant life in the 30’s. This is followed by a classic Tango Show that will amuse your senses with the sound of its concertina (bandoneon), the romanticism of its lyrics and the passion of its dancers.
